What happens when a bee stings?
When a honey bee stings a person, it cannot pull the stinger back out. It leaves behind the stinger, and also part of its body, so it dies.
Most people who are stung will have slight swelling around the sting area but some people are allergic (called anaphylaxis) they can have difficulty breathing and become really sick. |
